In collaboration, Mahayana Pure Land Temple, the Canadian Association for Buddhist Culture, the University of Toronto Mindful Balance Collective, the University of Toronto Buddhist Student Association, the Centennial College Art Student Connect Club, and Lotus Youth Council come together to launch Asian Heritage Month with a focus on intangible cultural heritage arts. Vegetarian Banquet: Supporting Temple Construction

This banquet brings the community together to support temple construction through a meaningful dining experience. Guests will enjoy delicious vegetarian dishes, delightful performances, and prize draws, with $10 from each ticket supporting the Sri Lanka Children's Breakfast Program. By savoring the meal, guests extend their support to children temporarily in need in Sri Lanka, sharing health, kindness, and goodwill.
Buddhist Rubbing Arts Exhibition

The exhibition aims to spark interest in Buddhist artistry and promote Buddhism through visual art. It showcases ancient cultural arts, such as calligraphy, sacred Buddha imagery, and murals, from a contemporary lens. This initiative also includes Dunhuang arts lectures, academic panels, and spiritual and mental health workshops that foster mindfulness and gratitude, enhancing participants' appreciation for the role of art in modern society.
